I have my iPod connected via USB to the CX-5. It was just working til last night. I've tried restarting the car, restarting the iPod, I even updated it to the latest update as well. I've tried different wires, I was able to get my iPad to load. But the iPod is forever stuck on 'Loading' and will not load the music.
I got a center console tray from Amazon (13$) and had to cut a gap so that it was still removable to access the lower compartment without unplugging the USB cable. Hope this helps someone! Edit: update -- I dremeled the shift override cap to allow room for the cable and popped it back in. Much better 👍.
You should be able to play music on Spotify when your phone is plugged into “USB - iPhone name here”. The only thing you can’t do is navigate/view Spotify itself through the touch screen — that has to be done on your phone. I have a 2017 Touring and have passengers play music through USB all the time. Shot-Chef-8949 • 2 yr. ago.
Been working fine since I picked it up Saturday, then today just stopped. Not getting power. Is there a fuse for the the USB ports (have not check the 12v port as I don't have anything handy to plug in to it.) Any ideas? Only things I can find online are from last year and no answer.
CX30 Infotainment System Issues. I bought a Mazda CX30 GT AWD 2021 (Non-turbo) late November. Before this vehicle I had 3 Honda Civics (10 years each). So this time I decided to get a little larger vehicle and bought this sub-compact suv. Great vehicle, I love all the new safety features and all-wheel drive for the Canadian winter.
Mazda confirms their USB port power output. I couldn't find the power output specs for the console USB ports anywhere so I asked Mazda and this is their reply: tldr; 1000mA for iDevices, 500mA for all others. I had received your email regarding the USB ports in the 2016 CX-5 and had been waiting for a response from engineering in Japan, I am
